What is the merchandising vendor transition?

SkillsUSA’s merchandising partnership with Centricity will end on Nov. 21. Halo, SkillsUSA’s new merchandising partner, will assume operation of the SkillsUSA Store on Nov. 24 with a limited inventory. We are working closely with both partners to ensure a seamless transition with as minimal disruption as possible. This transition marks an exciting step forward, inspired by your feedback and future needs.

 

Why is SkillsUSA changing partners?

SkillsUSA is transitioning to a new partnership to further align the SkillsUSA Store with the organization’s evolving strategic goals. This change supports continued growth, expanded product offerings, and an enhanced shopping experience for our members and stakeholders.

 

When can I start buying from the new company?

Halo will assume operation of the SkillsUSA Store on Nov. 24. They will offer a limited number of products through a temporary store until a new website is launched in January. Custom/B2B orders can begin immediately; contact Halo through the Custom Order Form at the bottom of the page. Orders placed for inventory items on this temporary store won't be able to ship until mid to late December as the items have to be transitioned from Centricity to HALO. 

 

How does this benefit me as a member?

This transition is designed to enhance the overall member experience by offering an updated online store, a broader range of products, and continued attention to quality and value.

 

How will the prices compare?

Prices on many items are expected to remain the same or even be reduced due to Halo’s larger supplier network.

 

What new products will be available?

A limited inventory will be available when Halo assumes operation of the store on Nov. 24. The product catalog will be subsequently built out with a grand reopening planned in 2026.

 

What happens to my outstanding orders?

All orders placed with Centricity will be fulfilled by Centricity.

 

What happens to my past order history?

Order histories with Centricity will be retired on Nov. 21 and unavailable thereafter.

 

Are all sales final with Centricity, or will I be able to make returns?

All sales will be final, and Centricity will not accept any returns or exchanges after Nov. 21.

 

What products will be available after the transition, and how do we find them?

Halo will offer a limited number of SkillsUSA items when it assumes operations of the SkillsUSA Store on Nov. 24. Those products are being determined based on sales history. The temporary store will be replaced with a brand new e-commerce system and store website in January 2026. It will feature a variety of exciting new products and funtionality. 

 

Will Halo accept purchase orders as a form of payment?

Yes, Halo does accept school purchase orders for orders.
